A two - way wireless communication system comprising : a plurality of wireless personal area network devices ; a wireless local area network device ; and a wireless bridge apparatus having a first transceiver module for two - way data communication with said personal area network devices and having a second transceiver module for two - way data communication with said local area network device ; and said first transceiver module and said second transceiver module operate at different frequencies ; wherein said first transceiver module operates at a frequency [FEATURE ID: 6] that is below 5 GHz and wherein said second transceiver module operates at a frequency that is above 5 GHz . 8 . A two - way wireless communication system comprising : a plurality of wireless personal area network devices ; a wireless local area network device ; a wireless bridge apparatus having a first transceiver module for two - way data communication with said personal area network devices and having a second transceiver module for two - way data communication with said local area network device ; and a remote Internet - connected backend server for communicating with said local area network device and thus said personal area network devices via said wireless bridge ; wherein said remote Internet - connected backend server can not reliably communicate directly with said personal area network devices because of the limited coverage area [FEATURE ID: 8] of said personal area network devices . 10 . A computer - implemented method executed by one or more processors [FEATURE ID: 1] of a first mobile computing device , the method comprising [TRANSITIVE ID: 2] : receiving [TRANSITIVE ID: 3] , over a wireless communications channel and by the one or more processors , a venue - specific application ; communicating , by the one or more processors , with a server system over the wireless communication channel to authenticate , based on a security protocol [FEATURE ID: 4] , a user [FEATURE ID: 5] of the venue - specific application on the first mobile computing device ; determining , by the one or more processors , a location of the first mobile computing device at a first time based on one or more wireless signals ; receiving , by the one or more processors , a user input indicating [TRANSITIVE ID: 3] a service request [FEATURE ID: 5] through the venue - specific application ; providing , to the server system , data indicating the location of the first mobile computing device , information associated [TRANSITIVE ID: 6] with a user of the first mobile computing device , and an indication of the service request , wherein the indication of the service request causes the server system to send the location of the first mobile computing device and the information associated with the user of the first mobile computing device to a second mobile computing device to facilitate presentation [FEATURE ID: 5] of the location of the first mobile computing device on a display of the second mobile computing device in real - time ; determining , by the one or more processors , an updated location of the first mobile computing device at a second time based on the one or more wireless signals ; and providing , to the server system , data indicating the updated location of the first mobile computing device . 2 .
